Travis Engelhart
Founder, Affinity Wedding Expos
After more than ten years in the wedding industry as a DJ, I’ve experienced firsthand what makes a wedding — and a wedding show — successful. I saw the good, the bad, and the missed opportunities. In 2023, I took that knowledge and created the kind of show I always wished existed as a vendor. That vision became the Puyallup Wedding Show.
In just two years, it grew into one of the most well-attended and well-reviewed shows in the region. Two-thirds of vendors return each year. By year two, we sold out of vendor spaces and built a waitlist of over 60 businesses. Attendance jumped 60%, and we introduced new features like a fashion show and vendor-led presentations — all without a roofer or window installer in sight. Just real wedding pros.
Now I’m bringing that same energy to Portland and Salem. Vendors deserve a show that actually shows up for them — with serious marketing, transparent communication, and the tools to succeed. That’s what I’m building here.
